Chelsea’s coach, Graham Potter suffers a huge defeat from the club he left in the Summer
Brighton tactically beat the Blues at home with an outstanding performance.
Brighton were three goals up already after a fabulous first-half performance.
The Brighton players made a statement to their former coach, Graham Potter who is now Chelsea’s coach.
Brighton’s prolific forward, Leandro Trossard showed composure as cut past Chelsea’s goalkeeper to open the game in the 5th minute.
Also, Chelsea conceded a series of own-goals from Robin Loftus-Cheek and Trevor Chalobah which made Brighton’s lead emphatic.
However, in the second half, Graham Potter’s men were able to lessen the lead by two through Kai Havertz’s goal but the deficit was increased by Brighton’s midfielder, Pascal Grob hit the target to make it 4-1 at home.
Brighton is currently eighth on the table after winning against Chelsea, they top Liverpool with two points and are six points away from the top four.
