Popular notorious Nigerian kidnapper, Evans just got convicted and he is going to face twenty-one years in prison.

Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, also known as Evans, was sentenced to 21 years in jail by a Special Offenses Court in Ikeja, Lagos. 

On Monday, September 19, 2022, Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo sentenced him and his co-defendant, Victor Aduba. 

Sylvanus Ahanonu Hafia was allegedly kidnapped by a group of convicted criminals on June 23, 2014, at around 5:30 p.m. at Kara Street in Amuwo Odofin, Lagos. They are accused of holding Hafia captive and demanding a $2 million ransom.

In February 2022, an Ikeja High Court condemned Evans to life in prison. 

The kidnapping of Mr. Donatius Dunu, the CEO of Maydon Pharmaceuticals Ltd., was discovered to be committed by him and two other people.
