The elders expressed their plight regarding Nnamdi Kanu’s unlawful custody
An Igbo group addresses the Federal Government for holding captive the leader of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.
They said it is an insult to the Igbo socio-cultural organization, Ndigbo.
Moreover, the group added that the government increased its negligence toward the ethnic people by ignoring the traditional and foreign authorities and extending Nnamdi Kanu’s case.
Furthermore, he gave the Federal government an ultimatum to release Kanu immediately as the court has placed its judgment to avoid political unrest.
“It is more advisable for the Federal Government to do the needful by releasing him according to the court verdict before the time bomb could be detonated. He stated.
