Premier League clash- Arsenal vs Chelsea build-up

Arsenal Vs Chelsea

The North West London derby over the years has always been an intriguing match to watch, with both sides being amongst the biggest football clubs in England.

Chelsea started gaining prominence in the 2000s after the acquisition by the billionaire, Roman Abramovich. Under his ownership, the club achieved so much success with multiple Premiership and European Champions wins.

Also, Arsenal, on the other hand, cemented their status in the league after their historical league win with arguably the most outstanding “unbeaten” record throughout a campaign, and registering ninety points in the 2003-2004 Premier League season.

They were nicknamed the “Invincibles” after the historical league win.

Chelsea’s most famous win against their rival, Arsenal in recent years was the 4-1 victory in the Europa League final in 2019.

Chelsea has scored in 10 of their last Premier League matches while Arsenal has scored in every single Premier League game this season.

Also, Chelsea are missing some key players in the defence and midfield due to injuries. Reece James, Ben Chillwell and Ngolo Kante are out injured.

Arsenal, on the other hand, seems to be complete after Saka’s return to training following his minor injury against Nottingham Forest.

Arsenal needs to secure a win to go back on top of the league, after Man City’s late winner against Fulham yesterday placed them at the top of the league.
